The Great Upheaval
A cataclysm caused by unsustainable energy practices shattered the old world. The survivors built Loftia as a new beginning, vowing never to repeat the mistakes of the past. The event is commemorated in carvings at the base of Cloudtop Village's waterfall.
The Founding
The first settlers arrived on five rafts that became the core islands. They brought seeds, tools, and the knowledge that would become Loftia's solarpunk philosophy. Nori's Sky Archive holds the original settlers' journals.
The Golden Thread
A mysterious energy that binds the floating islands together. Its origin is unknown, but ancient texts suggest it predates the Great Upheaval. The Golden Thread questline explores its mysteries.
The Undercloud
A dark zone below the floating islands, visible only from The Loft's observatory. Lore fragments hint at ancient structures and abandoned settlements. Not yet accessible in-game.
Sky Archive
Nori, the Keeper of the Sky Archive, holds every known lore fragment. Trade her rare books and pages to unlock the complete history of Loftia.
